BCM Helping To Prevent Child Abuse
This month is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Brad Cox has joined the race to let people know the signs of child abuse and neglect, in hopes of preventing situations that are geared toward harming youth.
Neglect involves ignoring a child's basic needs and putting them in harms way, often by leaving them unsupervised. Signs of neglect include 1) Bad hygiene and dirty clothes 2) Frequently late or absent from school 3) Injuries or illnesses that go untreated.
